The Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Advanced Technologies for Environmental Risk Management” is structured to prepare scientists with a high – level educational background, expertise and other technical skills required to address challenges in the field of environmental management, hazards mitigation and sustainable development. 

Graduates of the postgraduate program are qualified to pursue professional careers in:

• Public Services & Civil Protection Authorities (e.g. Ministry of Environment and Energy, the General Secretariat for Civil Protection)
• Local Authorities specialized in environmental risk management
• Private companies engaged in environmental impact assessment, waste management, flood risk analysis and related consulting activities
• Consulting Companies and technical offices
• Non Governmental and international Organizations, active in environmental protection and natural disaster management
• Research centers, universities and institutions related with the development of innovative methodologies and technologies for the prevention and mitigation of environmental risk.
