The Departments of Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment (DIAE), Energy Systems (DES), and Forestry, Wood Sciences and Design (DFWSD) of the University of Thessaly, which collaborate in the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Advanced Technologies for Environmental Risk Management” provide the appropriate buildings and laboratory infrastructure, adequate library facilities, and the necessary equipment for the smooth operation of the Program. They also offer services governed by updated operating regulations that ensure the proper functioning and quality of the services provided. Each department makes its classrooms, computer laboratories, software, laboratory equipment and teaching aids available for the purposes of delivering courses and preparing compulsory Master’s Theses for the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program.

More specifically, the courses of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program are delivered in Volos, at the premises of the Department of Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment, in the building housing the School of Agricultural Sciences, located in the Municipal Unit of Nea Ionia, Municipality of Volos, Regional Unit of Magnesia, and in Larissa, at the premises of the Department of Energy Systems, Gaiopolis University Campus.

All Departments have fully equipped teaching classrooms, with a capacity exceeding the number of students admitted to the Program, as well as laboratory facilities used by faculty members for the teaching and research activities of their respective disciplines.
