Short Biography
Evangelia Farsirotou is a Professor at the Department of Agriculture, Ichthyology and Aquatic Environment of the University of Thessaly with a specialization in “Hydrodynamic and Flood Control Projects” and a member of the Ecohydraulics and Inland Water Management laboratory.
He is a Civil Engineer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holds a Master’s Degree in Hydraulic Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD in River Hydraulics from the Aristotle University of Thessaly
Her research interests include the flood hazard of riverine areas, the numerical and experimental simulation of hydrodynamic and solid transport parameters in watercourses, the movement of sediments, the change in the free surface and the change in the bottom of natural watercourses.
He has published research work in scientific journals and international/national conferences and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Thessaly.
